HCPD is investigating it as a homicide.
A person was found shot to death this morning in the Longs area. The body was found on Dewitt Road just after midnight and an autopsy is scheduled at MUSC.
The Horry County Police Department is investigating it as a homicide. The name of the victim will be released after the family is notified.
