Margaret Queen Moran

Margaret Frances Queen Moran, 84, died peacefully at her home at Lakes of Litchfield in Pawleys Island, South Carolina on December 30, 2022. She was predeceased in 2009 by her husband, William Charles “Bill” Moran (former President of Lander University from 1992-2000, Provost of Francis Marion University from 1978-1992, and Dean of Arts and Sciences at Winthrop College from 1975-1978) and by her devoted eldest child, Kevin Patrick Moran, in 2010. Margaret is survived by her son Tom (Liz) and her grandchildren Wes, Mike and Sarah Moran. A funeral mass will be held for Margaret on January 28, 2023, at 11:00am at Precious Blood of Christ Catholic Church, 1633 Waverly Road, Pawleys Island, South Carolina.
