PAWLEYS ISLAND — The Low Country Herb Society will have its first meeting of the 2022-23 season at 9:30 a.m. on Sept. 13 at the Waccamaw Library in Pawleys Island.
The guest speaker will be Chef Anthony Corzenzi. After two decades as an award-winning chef in fine dining restaurants in Chicago, Scottsdale, and Las Vegas, he started Bella Vita Essentials with his wife, Sara, producing salt free organic spice blends, flavor infused olive oils and Balsamic vinegars.
For this meeting, the LCHS board members will be supplying the refreshments in the intermission, but members and guests should bring their own water.
Membership is open to all, no experience is necessary. Every regular meeting includes a guest speaker and information on the Herb of the Month.
Throughout the year an annual picnic is held, a holiday luncheon, and at least one field trip, to list just a few of the extra activities.
