One person died in a single-vehicle wreck in the Longs area Saturday morning, Horry County Deputy Coroner Michelle McSpadden said in a news release.
Jonah Prince, 19, of Loris died from injuries sustained in the wreck on S.C. 905, McSpadden said.
The crash happened around 2:30 a.m. Saturday near Sarvis Farm Road, which is close to the North Carolina border, according to Horry County Fire Rescue. The agency added that crews responded to the scene just before 2:45 a.m. Saturday.
The S.C. Highway Patrol is investigating the crash, but that agency has not released any details about what happened.
