Justice Department Appeals Request for Special Master

The Justice Department argued that U.S. National Security is being put at risk by the recent Special Master ruling. The court ordered Special Master review of material seized by the FBI at Mar-a-Lago was appealed by the Justice Department. Along with asking U.S. District Judge Aileen Cannon who ordered the Special Master to remove the hold put on the review of documents being completed for the FBI’s criminal probe. The Justice Department took a stand to argue the independent review was not necessary.
