MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WMBF) – After a brief break, humidity and the risk of a few showers at times will start to return by Friday through the Labor Day weekend.
FRIDAY
Friday will start to see a notable increase in humidity once again as temperatures climb from the lower 70s in the morning to the upper 80s to near 90 by the afternoon. As moisture starts to return, a few showers will be possible at times especially through the first half of the day. Rain chances will be at 20% for Friday.
LABOR DAY WEEEKND
Plans for the three day weekend can be kept in place as the weather looks to feature typical late summer conditions. High temperatures each day will range from the middle 80s at the beach to the upper 80s to near 90 inland. A few showers and storms will be possible at times, but no significant or widespread rain is expected. Any isolated showers or storms each day will fire up in the afternoon and quickly fall apart by sunset.

This means a rain-free forecast for Coastal vs. Army on Saturday night and in Darlington for the Southern 500 on Sunday!
