A man under the influence allowed his 11 year old son to operate a jet ski on the Intracoastal Waterway. Raymond Jay Hillman rode as a passenger as his son drove the jet ski. The child crashed into a tree near the edge of the water, throwing himself and Hillman into the water. The child did not survive and Hillman was critically injured. Hillman’s BAC was .094 when the blood sample was taken. Hillman was charged with unlawful conduct toward a child and a personal watercraft and boating violation.
