Both drivers killed in two-vehicle collision on US-521 in Clarendon

CLARENDON CO., S.C. (WOLO) – South Carolina Highway Patrol says both drivers are dead after a two-vehicle collision this morning.

Troopers say it happened on U.S. Highway 521 near Zakia Road around 2 a.m.

According to investigators, the driver of a 2005 Pontiac Montana mini-van was driving south in the northbound lane and hit a 1997 Ford Ranger pickup truck, killing both drivers.

The Clarendon County Coroner’s Office and Highway Patrol are investigating.
